Staircase & Foyer Lighting

The volume above a front door is the hardest fixture in the house to specify. Too small and the space reads unfinished; too short and the drop lands wrong on the landing. This collection gathers the long-drop chandeliers, tiered cascades and multi-tier pendants built for two-storey entries and open stairwells — roughly 250 pieces.

For a standard two-storey entry, the bottom of the fixture should sit at least 7 feet above the floor and be visible from the second-floor landing. Diameter in inches works out close to the room width plus length in feet — a 10 by 12 foot entry takes something near 22 inches across.

Every drop is cut to order. Send us the ceiling height and the distance from the landing, and we size the rod or chain before it ships.
