What's the difference between 6-Light and 8-Light?

Both share the same vintage Italian floral aesthetic, glass petal shades, ceramic rose accents, and antique copper finish — the difference is scale and visual presence. 6-Light (∅ 28″ / 71 cm): suits medium dining tables (6-seat), standard master bedrooms, mid-sized living rooms, or formal entry foyers. 8-Light (∅ 32.3″ / 82 cm): sized for larger dining tables (8–10 seat), grand foyers, formal living rooms, open-plan spaces, or double-height entries — adds ~10% diameter and 2 more arms for a more substantial centerpiece.

What size room and ceiling height do I need?

For dining-room or living-room install: 6-Light works well in rooms 100–200 sq ft with ceilings 8–10 ft; 8-Light suits rooms 200+ sq ft and ceilings 9–12 ft. Hang the chandelier so the bottom of the fixture is roughly 30–34″ above a dining table. For entry foyers and double-height spaces, the 30 cm (11.8″) included rod can be extended on request to suit taller ceilings.

Are bulbs included? What kind should I use?

No bulbs included. The Maysea takes E26 or E27 base bulbs, MAX 40W per socket — standard US screw-base. We recommend E26 LED bulbs in warm light tone (around 5–7W LED equivalent) — gives the warmest cozy ambiance, runs cool inside the glass petal shades, and lasts for years.

Will my chandelier look exactly like the photo?

Very close in overall character, but each is uniquely handmade. The glass petal shades are individually hand-blown — each petal's curve and ruffle is one-of-a-kind. The ceramic roses and buds are individually shaped — each rose has its own subtle variation in petal layering. The iron arms have a hand-aged copper finish that varies in patina depth. Your Maysea will share the photo's overall vintage Italian floral aesthetic, but the precise details are unique to your piece.

How is it installed? Can I adjust the hanging height?

The Maysea is hardwired — we recommend a licensed electrician, especially given the chandelier's weight and the need for proper ceiling-box reinforcement. The included 30 cm (11.8″) hanging rod is adjustable at install for standard 8–10 ft ceilings. For taller ceilings (10–14 ft+), an extended rod is available on request — please contact us before ordering with your ceiling height and we'll arrange the appropriate length.
