FAQ

How is the Gustav installed? Will it fit a US junction box?

Please read before buying: the Gustav is not designed for US junction boxes (J-box). It requires direct hardwiring by a licensed electrician. We strongly recommend consulting an electrician to confirm your wall and wiring will work with this fixture before purchasing.

Are bulbs included? What should I use?

No bulbs are included. The Gustav takes one E26 (US) / E27 (international) base bulb, MAX 40W. We recommend a 2700K warm white LED — the warm tone pairs beautifully with the brass, walnut, and white fabric shade for a cozy glow.

What can the shelf hold?

The built-in wooden shelf is designed for light everyday items — a book, phone, glasses, a small plant, or a candle. It's a decorative convenience shelf, so keep heavier objects off it.

What finishes are available?

The Gustav pairs a brass arm with a walnut-tone wooden shelf and a crisp white fabric shade — a warm, retro-leaning combination that suits both classic and modern rooms.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, with the right setup. Since the Gustav is hardwired, pair it with a wall dimmer rated for LED loads and use a dimmable LED bulb. Check your dimmer's compatibility list with your chosen bulb for the smoothest result.
