The Almora Alabaster Wall Sconce pairs a cylindrical imitation-alabaster shade with a clean metal frame, casting a soft, warm glow for comfortable ambient lighting. The stone-look shade diffuses the light evenly, giving you a cozy, glare-free wash on the wall.
Offered in antique brass, nickel, or black, and in two models — a shaded version and an open, shadeless version — the Almora suits bedside lighting, hallways, living rooms, and entryways in both contemporary and classic interiors.
About the Alabaster: the alabaster-look shade is a natural-pattern material, so veining and tone vary from piece to piece — your Almora will differ slightly from the one pictured.

What is the difference between Model A and Model B?
Model A comes with the alabaster shade and uses a replaceable G9 bulb (MAX 5W, not included) — a softer, enclosed glow, H 7.1″ (18 cm). Model B is shadeless for a more minimal, architectural look and comes with a built-in LED light source, H 5.5″ (14 cm). Both share the same frame, three finishes, and width.
Do I need to buy a bulb?
Model A takes one G9 base bulb (MAX 5W), which is not included — we recommend a 2700K warm white LED for the best alabaster glow. Model B has an integrated LED built in, so there's no bulb to buy.
Will the alabaster look exactly like the photos?
Not exactly — the alabaster-look shade is a natural-pattern material, so veining and tone vary from piece to piece. Your Almora will share the overall character of the photo but is uniquely its own.
What finishes are available?
Three: antique brass, nickel, and black. Choose the one that best matches your existing hardware, fixtures, and room palette.
Do I need an electrician to install it?
Yes — the Almora is hardwired directly to your wall junction box, so we recommend professional installation by a licensed electrician. It's rated for indoor dry locations only (not for bathrooms, showers, or outdoor use).

There are two main types — Gypsum and Calcite — with the latter being the preferred choice for lighting fixtures due to its durability and natural veining.
The unique quality of alabaster is its ability to diffuse light in a soft, warm glow, making it a favorite for creating ambient lighting. It is often found in shades of white, ivory, and cream, though pink, amber, and gray variations also exist — each adding its own warmth to a room’s atmosphere.
