Segmental Rod Design — Connection Point Curvature Is Normal

Doris Chandelier — segmental rod connection points

The rod is built from several sections joined by screw fittings — this lets you adjust the hanging length and keeps the fixture safe in international transit. On close inspection you may notice a faint curvature at the joints: this is a normal characteristic of the segmental design, not a defect. It doesn't affect structural strength or safety, and the joints are barely noticeable once the chandelier is installed and viewed from a normal distance.

I noticed the light poles have a join — is that normal?

Yes. The slim light poles are spliced (assembled from segments), so a faint join line along a pole is normal and part of the construction — not a defect. Once installed and lit, it's barely noticeable.

Are bulbs included? What does it take?

No bulbs are included. The Doris takes G9 base bulbs, MAX 5W each — 3, 4, or 6 bulbs depending on the size you choose. We recommend warm white (2700–3000K) LED G9 bulbs for the coziest glow through the glass.

Which size should I choose?

The 3-Light (∅ 3.9″, H 20.5″) is a slim vertical accent for a nook, hallway, or bedside; the 4-Light (∅ 23.6″) suits a dining table or entry; the 6-Light (∅ 35.4″) anchors a living room; and the large 6-Light (∅ 47.2″) makes a grand statement in double-height foyers and stairwells.

What finishes are available?

Do I need an electrician to install it?

Yes — the Doris is hardwired directly to your ceiling junction box, so we recommend professional installation by a licensed electrician. The 59″ (150 cm) cord is adjustable so you can set the drop height. Rated for indoor dry locations only.
