Are bulbs included? What kind should I use?
No bulbs are included. The Martin takes an E26 or E27 base bulb, MAX 40W — standard US screw-base. We recommend a warm white LED bulb for a cozy glow; choose a dimmable LED if you want to adjust brightness (see below).
Is it really dimmable? How does dimming work?
Yes — the lamp supports dimming when paired with a dimmable bulb. Fit a dimmable LED (E26/E27) and use a compatible in-line or plug-in dimmer to slide from bright task light down to a soft, ambient glow. The included cord switch is a simple on/off; dimming comes from the bulb.
How is it powered — plug or hardwired?
It's a plug-in lamp. It comes with a 150 cm (59″) cord, an in-line on/off switch, and a plug — just plug it into a standard wall outlet. No wiring or electrician needed.
Will the wood look exactly like the photo?
Very close, but not identical. The Martin is handcrafted from natural wood, so grain pattern, tone, and small markings vary from piece to piece. This natural variation is part of its wabi-sabi character, not a defect — your lamp is one of a kind.
