The Onslow is handcrafted from solid wood with a fabric shade. The body is available in wood color or black, with a beige shade.
It features a vintage, antique-inspired design with japandi and wabi-sabi influences, combining a slender wood column with an oversized drum shade.
It takes an E26 or E27 base bulb with a maximum of 40W. Bulbs are not included.
The lamp is plug-in with an inline on/off switch. It comes with a 150cm (59 inch) cord and accepts AC 110-240V. Plug options include US, UK, AU, and EU versions.
Linen, silk, pleats and fringe that turn a bare bulb into a warm, even glow. Real textiles on wood, brass and iron frames.

Cloth is the oldest way to soften a bare bulb, and still the most beautiful.
A fabric shade does three jobs at once. It spreads harsh light evenly, warms its color toward amber, and adds texture you can see even when the lamp is off. Every piece here pairs a real textile with a frame of wood, brass or iron.
Even light with no glare or hot spots.
Natural fibers shift the glow toward amber.
Weave and pleats that read day and night.
Four textiles, four kinds of glow. Hover or tap to compare.

Dry and nubby, with natural slubs that show in the light.

Crisp folds with a soft hand. Each ridge catches light differently.

Shaped layers and scalloped hems that glow with soft, curved edges.

Dense pile and swinging strands with real weight in the hand.
Tap a swatch to see how each fabric glows and where it works best.
Natural slubs let light through unevenly, for a relaxed, lived-in glow.
Each fold catches light a little differently, glowing in fine vertical bands.
A thin skin over a light frame turns the whole fixture into one even glow.
Shaped layers and scalloped hems give a silhouette you notice even when it's off.
Strands break the light into a soft, shifting pattern with old-world charm.
A fabric light works twice: as texture by day, as glow after dark.

Switched off, the shade reads as soft sculpture. Pleats, weave and color become part of the decor.

Switched on, the fabric spreads the bulb into a warm, even glow with no glare.
Where it hangs changes what it needs to do. Pick a room to see how we would light it.

Tallulah Flush MountFrom $449Layer three heights: overhead, floor and table. Fabric keeps all three easy on the eyes.
Linen and pleats give the lowest-glare light in the house.
A fabric pendant flatters faces and food, with none of the bare-bulb glare.
Start with where the light needs to go.
Three looks, and the fabrics that suit them.

Natural linen, soft neutrals and clean lines. Calm, airy and easy to live with.

Fringe, scallops and pattern with warm brass. Collected and full of character.
Choosing, using and caring for fabric lighting.
Natural linen, pleated fabric, silk, Tyvek, velvet and woven or patterned textiles. Each product page lists the exact shade material.
Not with LED bulbs, which run cool. Always stay within the maximum wattage listed on the product page.
A warm white LED between 2700K and 3000K gives the coziest glow through fabric. Check each product page for the bulb base.
Switch off and let the bulb cool, then dust with a lint roller, soft brush or a vacuum on low. Blot marks with a damp cloth and mild soap. Never soak a shade.
Use LED bulbs, dust regularly, and keep the lamp out of strong direct sun and away from the stove.
We recommend dry indoor spaces only. Steam and humidity can stain fabric and loosen pleats over time.
Our lighting team can help you choose the right fabric, size and bulb for your room.
