Can I adjust the direction of each arm?
Yes — each arm is mounted on a brass ball joint swivel, allowing you to angle every reflector independently. This makes the Spider ideal for large rooms where you need to direct light to multiple specific areas, such as reading corners, dining areas, or artwork.
Which size should I choose — 3 heads or 6 heads?
The 3-head version (L59″) works beautifully in dining rooms, bedroom sitting areas, and medium-to-large living rooms. The 6-head version (L86.6″) is designed for very large open-plan spaces, lofts, restaurants, or commercial environments where broad, even illumination across a wide area is needed.
What bulbs do I need?
Each socket uses an E26 or E27 base bulb (standard US socket). For the most authentic mid-century look and warm fill lighting, we recommend Warm Light LED bulbs. The number of bulbs matches the head count — 3 or 6. Bulbs are not included.
Does it require professional installation?
Yes — this lamp is hardwired and requires a ceiling electrical connection. Given the lamp's span (up to 86.6″ wide), installation takes some care to ensure the canopy is properly anchored. We recommend a licensed electrician. See the Installation Guide in the Downloads section.
