Fontana Amorosa is a celebration of light as a collection of imaginary fountains. Bundles of suggested jet trajectories support glowing spheres, forming disciplined compositions of chandeliers, sconces, and candelabras. More than just sources of light, these designs become places for meetings, courtship, and meditation. The name is a reference to a naturally formed spring in northwest Cyprus: a mythical destination where the goddess Aphrodite often went to escape Mount Olympus, drink water, and maintain a youthful and amorous body and mind.
