RÉSUMÉ
Mouille a conçu ses lumières angulaires et insectoïdes comme « une réaction aux modèles italiens qui commençaient à envahir le marché en 1950 », qu'il critiquait pour être « trop compliqués ».
Le Luminaire de Plafond Trois Bras (1958) est une interprétation suspendue de son Luminaire de Plafond Trois Bras original et conserve l'esthétique cinétique et sculpturale de l'original. Toutes ses solutions d'éclairage comportent les signatures caractéristiques de Mouille en tant que designer : la façon dont les bras sont attachés aux diffuseurs, la rondelle et le matériel de vis hexagonale, la forme des réflecteurs et les lignes épurées du tube en acier.
