De Nelson Ball Crisscross Bubble Hanglamp is gebaseerd op het originele ontwerp uit 1952 van de inventieve George Nelson. Met gebruikmaking van Amerikaanse militaire technieken en restvoorraden na de Tweede Wereldoorlog creëerde Nelson de eerste set Bubble Lamps — bedekt met een doorschijnende witte kunststofspray die bij verlichting een zachte, organische esthetiek oplevert.
Het lichte stalen draadframe zorgt ervoor dat de lamp zijn vorm behoudt, zelfs onder spanning. In dit ontwerp creëert een netwerk van onderling verbonden stalen draden een charmant geometrisch kruispatroon. Hang in een groep voor een delicate, omgevingsverlichting.

Wat is het verschil tussen de 9 modellen?
Elk model vertegenwoordigt een eigen vorm in de Nelson Bubble-familie — platte schijf, ronde bol, langwerpige cilinder, druppel of samengestelde vormen. Modellen A en B zijn brede, schijfachtige vormen in verschillende maten. Modellen C–I bieden meer sculpturale profielen. Kies op basis van de visuele gewicht en verhoudingen die het beste passen bij uw plafonds hoogte en ruimtegrootte. Het combineren van verschillende modellen op verschillende hoogten is een populaire aanpak.
Welke lamp heb ik nodig?
Deze hanglamp gebruikt een E26 of E27 lampfitting (standaard Amerikaanse fitting), max 40W. Voor de meest authentieke zachte gloed door de mulberry-zijden kap, raden wij een warm wit LED-lamp aan.
Kan ik meerdere hanglampen combineren?
Ja — het combineren van Nelson Bubble-hanglampen op verschillende hoogten is een van de populairste manieren om ze te gebruiken. Het mengen van modellen (bijv. Modellen A, C en D samen) creëert een prachtige, gelaagde installatie. Elke hanglamp vereist een eigen aansluitingspunt aan het plafond. Wij ondersteunen aangepaste groothandelsopdrachten voor gecombineerde installaties.
Zijn maatwerkformaten beschikbaar?

Moet dit professioneel worden geïnstalleerd?
Ja — deze hanglamp is hard bedraden en vereist een elektrische verbinding aan het plafond. Wij raden een erkend elektricien aan. De lamp is compatibel met hellende plafonds tot 30°. Zie de Installatiegids in de Downloads-sectie.
