Mooijane · Bespoke Color Studio · Hand-Painted Finishes

If Pantone has a number for it, our booth can spray it.

Our seventeen metal finishes are only the beginning. Behind them sits the entire Pantone® Solid Coated collection, delivered as a hand-sprayed lacquer coat. Find your shade in the official library, give us its number, and your fixture is built in precisely that color — a single code, zero guesswork, and never another "something like sage."

§ 01 · Our Method
Olive Moss
Pantone® Solid Coated
5757 C

A number says it exactly —
words only come close.

Ask ten people what "sage green" looks like and you'll hear ten answers. PANTONE 5757 C has only one — the identical physical chip sitting in the library, beside our spray bench, and inside your quote confirmation.

5757
The shade's numberPoints to a single, unmistakable color in the Pantone system — in this example, a muted moss olive. It's the one thing we ask you to bring.
C
"C" stands for CoatedThe letter tells us the reference lives on coated stock — the benchmark our sprayed lacquer is checked against. Kindly select your shade from the Solid Coated collection.
What happens nextThe paint is mixed against the physical reference, a sample panel is sprayed and photographed next to the chip, and that photo reaches you before a drop touches your fixture.
§ 02 · Locating Your Shade

Your color is four minutes away
on Pantone Connect.

Pantone Connect is the official color browser, free to use. No sign-up is required just to look around — all you're after is the code that pops up when your cursor rests on a swatch.

Step 01
Head to Pantone Connect
Go to pantonecn.com/pantone-connect from any browser — a desktop screen makes side-by-side shade comparison far easier.
Step 02
Switch to "Solid Coated"
From the library selector at the top, pick PANTONE® Solid Coated — the professional coatings standard every one of our paint formulas is measured against.
Step 03
Let the swatch show its code
Scroll or search through the grid. Rest your cursor on any swatch and it enlarges, revealing its code — say, PANTONE 440 C. That string is the color's complete identity.
Step 04
Pass the number to us
Drop the code into the inquiry panel below (or email it along with your fixture link). Everything after that is on us — mixing, sample panel, photo, and your quote.
About your screen

Every display shifts color a little — treat the on-screen swatch as a faithful guide rather than a promise. It's precisely why the sprayed sample panel is photographed side by side with the physical Pantone chip and sent for your approval before your fixture ever enters the booth. Not a single coat goes on until you've seen it for real.

§ 03 · Where to Begin

The twelve references we're
asked for again and again.

More than 2,300 colors live in the complete library — but if a starting point helps, tap any swatch below and the specimen card will take on that shade. Once it feels right, carry the color straight into the inquiry panel.

Olive Moss

What you see on screen is an approximation of each Pantone reference — the definitive match is always made against the physical chip.

§ 04 · The Surface

Same hue — three different characters.

The code locks in the hue; the sheen determines how it lives in your space — the amount of light it throws back, how readily it collects fingerprints, and the way it reads on camera.

Our Studio Default

Matte

A soft, almost gloss-free surface that drinks light in instead of reflecting it. The effect is architectural and current — and it hides dust and fingerprints better than anything else. It's what we reach for first on deep, saturated shades.

  • Gloss level< 10%
  • CharacterUnderstated, current
  • Best forDark & muted shades
The Balanced Choice

Satin · Eggshell

A quiet low-sheen glow that lends the color dimension without ever turning reflective. This is the timeless furniture-lacquer finish — the nearest cousin to classic painted cabinetry and millwork.

  • Gloss level25–40%
  • CharacterTimeless, warm
  • Best forNearly every room
The Showpiece

High Gloss

A glassy, wet-look depth achieved with extra clear-coat layers, each hand-leveled before the next. Bold and mirror-bright — it turns pastels into candy and dark tones into the richness of a lacquered jewel box.

  • Gloss level85%+
  • CharacterDramatic, glassy

Worth Knowing Before You Commission

  • Metal parts take the color. Custom Pantone lacquer covers bodies, canopies, arms, and frames. Natural elements — alabaster, marble, glass, rattan, and fabric shades — stay exactly as nature made them and are not paintable.
  • Built for you alone. A custom-color fixture is produced specifically to your order, so it falls outside the standard change-of-mind return policy. Approving the sample-panel photo is the moment the commission is confirmed.
  • Stick to the Solid Coated ("C") collection. References from other Pantone systems (TPG/TPX, U, Metallics) can usually be cross-converted — just check with us before committing.
  • Minor run-to-run variation is expected. Lacquer sprayed by hand and matched to a physical standard can shift by a fraction between production batches — always inside commercial color-matching tolerance.
§ 06 · Start the Conversation

A minute to fill in.
An answer within a day.

Drop in your Pantone code, name the fixture it's destined for, and mention anything useful — how many, which sheen, or a project deadline. The panel delivers your note straight to our studio, and the specialist who opens it is the same person who will walk your commission all the way to the paint booth.

Rather get in touch yourself? A call or an email both reach the studio.
