I purchased this to hang above a staircase so that the entire staircase is lit when it's on. Works just as I imagined it would, looks great, and very cost effective. I'm very happy with it.

If you have a nice place to hang them definitely get them. They are elegant and gives a nice touch. They are made of glass with bubbles inside. I highly recommend these.
