The floor lamp is exactly what i was looking for and needed. I am using it beside my laptop and it is the perfect height!

I was looking for an unobtrusive reading light and found ii in this one. It is stable on the floor, easy to move room to room, as an adjustable goose neck, and a user friendly dimmer switch.

I like to read for a while, before going to sleep at night, while my wife generally prefers to just go right to sleep.

replacing bedside TABLE reading lights with two of these floor reading lights. Takes up zero space on bedside table, on/off easily accessed, dimmable and the "spot" light does not disturb partner when on. Kind of perfect for our situation, anyway....

The lamp was easy to put together and it operates as expected. It's shorter than a different lamp I have of the same time, but that's not a problem for how I'm going to use it. I'm very satisfied.
