Mouille ontwierp zijn hoekige, insectachtige lampen als "een reactie op de Italiaanse modellen die in 1950 de markt begonnen binnen te vallen", die hij bekritiseerde omdat ze "te ingewikkeld" waren.
De driearmige plafondlamp (1958) is een hangende interpretatie van zijn originele driearmige plafondlamp en behoudt de kinetische, sculpturale esthetiek van het origineel. Al zijn verlichtingsoplossingen zijn voorzien van de kenmerkende handtekeningen van Mouille als ontwerper: de manier waarop de armen zijn verbonden met de diffusers, de ring en zeskantige schroefhardware, de vorm van de reflectoren en de verfijnde lijnen van de stalen buizen.
Materialen: gelakt aluminium en staal met messing kogelgewrichten.
