De Cigar Lotus-tafellamp brengt dit klassieke George Nelson-ontwerp naar een tafelsetting. De elegante lampenkap staat op een stalen voet die verkrijgbaar is met of zonder walnoothouten kap, en een gebruiksvriendelijke aan/uit trekketting met een massief walnoten uiteinde. De lamp wordt ook geleverd met een 86-inch insteeksnoer. De Nelson Bubble Lamps werden voor het eerst ontworpen in 1952 toen Nelson zich liet inspireren door een set Zweedse hanglampen. Hun dure prijs zette Nelson ertoe aan zijn eigen set te maken, en hij kwam tot een innovatief proces dat hun zijden kap verving door een doorschijnend plastic materiaal, waardoor ze beschikbaar waren tegen een bescheiden prijs.
