Organic modern — often called japandi — works in natural material and unforced shape: travertine with the grain left open, alabaster cut thin enough to read light through, wood turned rather than machined. The Gingko and Liora Bloom chandeliers, Cloud pendants, Moon floor lamp and a run of travertine pendants and table lamps define the range.
Calm without being cold. These suit living rooms, bedrooms and long hallways where texture matters more than outline, and they read especially well at low output in the evening.
Stone and wood are natural materials — veining and grain vary piece to piece, which is the point. Made to order, $105 to $3,450, custom sizing available.
